Summary. Moduley is a personal study-organisation tool. Users remain responsible for verifying deadlines and academic information against official university sources.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Moduley, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use Moduley.
2. About Moduley
Moduley is a study-tracking web application that helps students organise courses, assessments, deadlines, notes, and related study tools.
Important. Moduley is a personal organisation tool and does not constitute an official university record system. Due dates, weightings, and other academic information entered into Moduley are only as accurate as the information provided by you or your course materials. You remain responsible for verifying deadlines and requirements against official university sources (course profiles, Learning@Griffith/Blackboard, official correspondence, and so on). Moduley is not liable for missed deadlines, incorrect grades, or academic consequences arising from reliance on the application.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Moduley. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the service.
4. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- Accurate information must be provided when creating your account.
- One account per person — logins may not be shared, and accounts may not be created on behalf of others without permission.
- Notify us immediately at hello@moduley.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Moduley for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Moduley's systems, other users' accounts, or data
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell Moduley's content or functionality without permission
- Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others
- Interfere with or disrupt Moduley's operation (for example, by attempting to overload our systems)
Accounts that violate these Terms may be suspended or terminated.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you enter into Moduley — your notes, assessment details, case-tracker entries, and so on ("Your Content"). By using Moduley, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. Moduley does not claim ownership of Your Content and does not use it for any purpose beyond operating the application on your behalf.
7. Our intellectual property
Moduley's design, branding, code, and features (excluding Your Content) belong to us and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Moduley may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without our written permission.
8. Fees
Moduley is provided free of charge. Should paid plans or premium features be introduced, users will be given clear advance notice before any charge applies, and payments will be processed securely through a third-party payment provider. Moduley does not store full payment card details.
9. Disclaimers
Moduley is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While reasonable efforts are made to maintain consistent service availability, Moduley does not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moduley and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including, but not limited to, missed deadlines, lost data, or academic outcomes. Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Termination
You may discontinue use of Moduley and request account deletion at any time by contacting hello@moduley.app. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
12. Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Continued use of Moduley after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
